As expected, this kit is excellent in all aspects. From the excellent and secure packaging the quality control becomes evident. The casts, machined parts and hardware are all of high quality. Fit and finish is astounding. No mold marks, rough surfaces or defects are to be expected which assembly is a trademark of Teching. Colorful, expansive and clear step by step instructions with cautionary notes such as testing prior to the next step abound. The relative high part count makes for an interesting build and an accurate looking and working motor. A complete yet minimal tool set is included although i stringly suggest getting a small metric set of of traditional hex drivers. Their added benifits are the ease of use and applying uniform torque on all bolts. The slow reving finished motor is quiet running and a sight to behold specially from close where one can appreciate the fine finish and woking of most parts.Battery life is a non issue as a charge will keep the engine working for a few hours. A few small spare parts such as washers and bolts are included
NB this is my third kit this manufacturer and i remain equally pleased with all. Packaging and shipping was great except for package tracking wich did not w ork eell for me. This was minimized by receiving messages upon shipment and more importantly when out for delivery.

This item is great! I find the estimated time to construct it a little optimistic. It took me over 6 hours, but I took my time. I absolutely find the extra parts (nuts, bolts, and clips for the pistons) to be crucial. I tried to lose parts several times and yet I found them, but the clips to the pistons are EViL! The model is very intricate and perfect.

The Teching 4-Cyl. L-4 diesel engine kit is a realistic marvel. The inclusion of a USB cable for battery charging is a thoughtful addition.

I received the TECHING 1 L4 Diesel Engine Model Kit and took my time to assemble it. The precision and attention to detail in this model are remarkable. It's a beautiful model that rewards your patience.
