I received the SE-03 steam engine plant a few weeks and ago and from opening the box I was stunned with its beauty. Now I have to admit I've always been a sucker for a steam engine with a vertical boiler so this steam plant just ticked all the boxes for me.
Absolutely awesome kit and a great lot of fun to put this together. As I mentioned above, it's a stunningly beautiful steam plant with a historical looking antique vertical boiler. I have many hours of running this engine now and it's been total pleasure. I have a lot of steam engines, but this one stands out and visitors (who aren't even enthusiasts over the Christmas/New Years break all commented on it which was very interesting to me.

I ordered this because the hit and miss engines always intrigued me. It is a very well machined piece. The only issue I have had is the carburetor sits lower than the fuel tank so once fuel gets tit, it will drip and flood the engine.

The SE-03 is a fantastic kit. I had a lot of fun putting it together and once finished it runs great, but even when standing still it is a pleasure to watch the little steam engine. I love it!
