I liked putting it together, I have it connected to my steam engine now i just have to run it. The instructions called for engine oil for it so I picked up a quart of 10W30 but now I found out there is steam oil so I am not sure which way I am going to go with it. As soon as I do that and double check everything lube wise, I think I should be ready to fire it up. Wish me luck!
Thank you for your review! Are you referring to the engine oil for the GF01 or your steam engine? The manual doesn't recommend engine oil, only lubricating oil. Theoretically, the 0W30 oil you mentioned should also work, but for a steam engine, a dedicated steam engine oil is the best choice. Have a smooth start and enjoy driving!

I have never seen a mechanical kit of so excellent quality and function, to a so good price. Package in a foam case in a carboard box. Good step-by-step build instruction with a list of contents first. All parts fitted exactly with no compromises. I built it in half an hour and it worked perfectly on first try.
