The valves are getting stuck and leaking air, the cylinders are too stiff. Even turning by hand exhibits huge resistance.
Tried running the engine off the car tire pump even, at 3 bar - still not working.
The parts need significant modifications to be used in pneumatic engine, as explained on youtube. The kit as is proves useless.
Well packaged, easy to assemble and runs well without any drama. The burner tends to wobble about when running, easily remedied with some tape around the base to keep it steady, otherwise all good
Awesome little engine. Runs great and is a lot of fun to tinker with. Highly recommend.
It arrived with dents and paint smudges on the boiler covering as well as loose parts..
It was very poorly assembled..
Quite honestly it looks as it was a used locomotive..
I haven’t tried to run it yet because I reached out to Engine DIY hoping they would make it right..
It been over a week and no response..
I was hoping that they would replace the locomotive with an acceptable item..
The least they could do is offer parts to fix it..
I’ve done business with them before and this time I’m very disappointed..
Looks Good, runs good, arrived well packed.
