Principle:
This model has two combustion chambers, unlike the real thing.
Impeller-driven combustion chamber 1: Air is compressed by a large fan and the front and rear compressor turbines before being pushed into a simple combustion chamber. It mixes with fuel and is ignited by a spark plug, generating a flame that drives the turbine.
An external small air pump-driven combustion chamber 2: The small air pump mixes air and fuel, then sends it into combustion chamber 2. The spark plug ignites and drives the turbine. This is the model's main thrust source.
Fuel: Liquefied petroleum gas.
Why not use kerosene? In addition to relying on the expanded exhaust gases (carbon dioxide and water) produced by combustion, some thrust is also generated by high-temperature heating. High-calorific-value liquefied gas is the best fuel.
Liquid gas does not require a vaporization process, which simplifies assembly.
