These are just some of the impressive numbers of the World Trade Center complex, a beautiful icon of the New York skyline and a symbol of the 20th century.
Inaugurated in 1973, the original WTC complex included six buildings: three low-rise buildings (WTC 4, WTC 5, WTC 6), a 22-floor hotel (WTC 3), and the iconic Twin Towers (WTC 1, the "North Tower", and WTC 2, the "South Tower") with an impressive height of 417 m, 530 m including the North Tower's antenna.
A seventh building, the WTC 7, a The 47-story building was added later in 1987; this building is not included in this model as it was not part of the original complex, but you will find it as a stand-alone MOC soon on my page.
