I have never seen a mechanical kit of so excellent quality and function, to a so good price. Package in a foam case in a carboard box. Good step-by-step build instruction with a list of contents first. All parts fitted exactly with no compromises. I built it in half an hour and it worked perfectly on first try.
Are you looking for a miniature workshop to run off your steam engine or hit & miss engines?
I recently built the Retrol GF-01 Workshop and am very impressed with the build quality of the parts and components.
I have a Mamod & Jensen Workshop, but the quality of the GF-01 totally surpasses both of these.
As soon as you open the box and see the parts, you're going to be impressed.
A workshop adds a completely different aspect to running an engine, and the scale is perfect for a diorama.

The RW-BL1K steam plant is a quality steam engine and boiler kit, the moment I took the lid of the box I was just like 'WOW'!
Such an enjoyable build, the parts are precision made and comes with all tooling necessary to complete the build.
I received the SE-03 steam engine plant a few weeks and ago and from opening the box I was stunned with its beauty. Now I have to admit I've always been a sucker for a steam engine with a vertical boiler so this steam plant just ticked all the boxes for me.
Absolutely awesome kit and a great lot of fun to put this together. As I mentioned above, it's a stunningly beautiful steam plant with a historical looking antique vertical boiler. I have many hours of running this engine now and it's been total pleasure. I have a lot of steam engines, but this one stands out and visitors (who aren't even enthusiasts over the Christmas/New Years break all commented on it which was very interesting to me.

Been looking at these model engines for a while, watching lots of videos and reading reviews. So I placed an order which was straight forward I received the parcel about 10 days later. The engine is very well made nice detail etc, the engine ran straight out of the box couldn’t ask for more. Excellent. Credit to Enginediy shop

You can use the SE02 steam engine in conjunction with the GF01 workshop!

Lovely casting /machining motor run s smoothly, but even run slowly boiler can’t keep up

Regarding the issues you encountered:
1. Please check if the burner flame is strong enough, if the water is boiling vigorously, and if the pressure gauge shows the normal reading of 2 bar.
2. Please check if the steam lines are blocked, causing insufficient steam.
3. It would be very helpful if you could record a video of the issue; this will allow us to better diagnose the problem.
