In Sep 2023, we once again pay tribute to the great craftsman, George Luhrs. George Luhrs spent most of his life crafting engines of various sizes, and unfortunately, he passed away in 2014. In his honor and to carry on his legacy, we present a mini single-cylinder four-stroke engine based on George Luhrs' work. After meticulously CNC machined, this engine features a hardened crankshaft with bearings, and employs an overhead valve design, forced air cooling with a built-in centrifugal fan, external mechanical ignition system, adjustable ignition advance angle, and a transparent mini fuel tank.

The beautiful SE-03 Steam Engine Plant
I received the SE-03 steam engine plant a few weeks and ago and from opening the box I was stunned with its beauty. Now I have to admit I've always been a sucker for a steam engine with a vertical boiler so this steam plant just ticked all the boxes for me.
Absolutely awesome kit and a great lot of fun to put this together. As I mentioned above, it's a stunningly beautiful steam plant with a historical looking antique vertical boiler. I have many hours of running this engine now and it's been total pleasure. I have a lot of steam engines, but this one stands out and visitors (who aren't even enthusiasts over the Christmas/New Years break all commented on it which was very interesting to me.
